MPD seeks armed robbery suspect

The Morristown Police Department is investigating an armed robbery which occurred Friday at 9pm at the Marathon station on King Avenue in east Morristown.

A male entered the gas station just moments ago brandishing what appeared to be a gun and demanded money from the store clerk. The suspect escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police are currently on-scene and investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect. Detectives hope that his jacket may be a clue which can help identify the man.
