(WGRV) One person was killed in a single-vehicle accident Monday afternoon, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
40-year-old Daniel Anglin of Greeneville was traveling east on Snapps Ferry Road around 3:30 PM. As he negotiated a curve, the vehicle left the roadway in the 4800 block, striking a culvert. This caused the vehicle to flip and go airborne. The vehicle struck a light pole.
Anglin was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Greeneville Emergency & Rescue Squad, Newmansville Volunteer Fire Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Greene County Sheriff’s Department, Greene County EMS, and the Greeneville/Greene County Emergency Management Agency responded to the scene.
