From Don Owen: Nolichucky Baptist Association – God’s Warehouse Ministries in Morristown
Since our last update a lot has happened at God’s Warehouse and around the world. This update may be a bit long so please hang in with us.
This past Wednesday George Collier left God’s Warehouse with another full 53 ft semi-trailer load of Disaster Relief Supplies and delivered them Friday morning to our great partners at New Life Mission in Independence Louisiana. Duncan Ferche and his great team are working feverishly to distribute the supplies we have shipped plus the supplies they have received from other sources. With over 11,000 families in Louisiana who completely lost their homes or their home were severely damaged this is going to be a long haul recovery event requiring lots of resources and supplies.
Last week our God’s Warehouse team loaded and shipped another truck load of supplies to Waverly which included food and construction supplies.
The Rebuild effort is going strong in Waverly and is about to get a huge boost. Our great friends and partners at Appalachian Service Project (ASP) directed by Walter Crouch has committed to help build up to 25 new homes in the next 12 months. As many of you will remember ASP came in behind our Tennessee Baptist Disaster Relief teams in Rainelle and surrounding counties of West Virginia several years ago and built back 78 new homes destroyed following the flooding there.
Please continue to pray for the Rebuild efforts in Waverly and if you can join Knox County they are going back to Waverly March 16th. See info below.
Disaster Relief Volunteers,
Knox County Disaster Relief will be going to Waverly to rebuild homes the 3rd week of March. We will leave Knoxville on Wednesday March 16, 2022 and return home Sunday March 20, 2022. If interested in going contact me ASAP.

Harvest of Israel Update
God has blessed and to date we have have shipped 75 fully loaded Containers to Israel. God has supplied in ways we could have never imagined and presently Tim Velie and his team have 3 full container loads of supplies stored on the racks and is working on a 4th container at God’s Warehouse but “Houston,we have a problem”!
The problem is not the supplies- our problem is getting containers on which to ship the supplies. At the moment we are being told that our next containers will not be available until sometime in April and they cannot even guarantee that will happen. Tim presently has a request in for 3 containers and he is being told “MAYBE”. So here is what we are asking from each of you reading this update. Please pray that God would open the doors for containers to be made available as the need in Israel is critical.
Special Note from Tim: We have begun collecting bicycle’s for under privileged children in Israel. If you have a new or gently used bicycle you would like to donate please contact Tim at 304-920-2199 or drop it off at God’s Warehouse 3441 W. Andrew Johnson Hwy.
Back in November and December God provided and our ladies collected, sorted, inspected, packed and shipped a 40 ft container to the tiny country of Moldova. Moldova sits on the western Ukrainian border and with the soviet invasion it has put this tiny country directly in the cross-hairs of this war. As a result we reached out to our partner “Johnny Huffman” to see if there was any additional help we could provide. Below is the reply to us from Moldova:
Military Bunks Project and Tomorrow
Two weeks ago we got word that an Air Force base in SC was updating bunks in some of their barracks and we were invited to collect them if we sent trucks and a crew. Carl Morrow and Danny Rhoten volunteered to go and pack the 53 ft semi trailer on Tuesday and by the end of the day they called back and needed another truck to finish the project. David Helton and Terry Wolfe headed out in our 26ft box truck that evening and on Wednesday we had an additional truck load.
These beds were brought back to God’s Warehouse and Tim Velie and his HOI crew carved out enough to fill half of one container for Israel. Since then we have been shipping bunks to Kentucky, Louisiana and we are sending some to Waverly as well as making them available to local families.
These puppies are solid wood and each one weighs in at about 230 pounds. Isn’t it amazing how God provides just what is needed when we need it. Below is a photo showing what they look like.
Carl Morrow lead another team of 8 volunteers back to Sevier County to pick up more hotel supplies. After unloading them at God’s Warehouse these supplies will be distributed locally and around the world to individuals and families in need.
Thank you for Your Prayer and Financial support. Your support and encouragement makes it possible for all our great volunteers to accomplish the work of all six ministries under the roof of God’s Warehouse. You make it possible to continue to operate and touch lives locally, nationally and all around the world. To God be all glory, honor and praise!!
