Manley Baptist Church break-in leads to additional charges

A suspect in a break-in at Manley Baptist Church -earlier this month-and multiple other cases, has now been charged.

On February 2, the Morristown Police Department was notified that two suspects – one male, one female- broke into the church. Both were wearing face coverings at the time, but through their investigation, the MPD has charged an underage girl, along with 22 year old Austin Trey Murray, of Morristown.

A cabinet was forced open at the church and $25 reported stolen from a cash box.

Murray is facing charges now in a wide array of investigations: charged with 12 counts of burglary, 11 counts of theft, 10 counts of vandalism, and 8 counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
