62-year-old Lynn Richard Norton, of Russellville, was sentenced earlier this week in U.S. District Court in Greeneville by Judge Ronnie Greer to 240 months followed by five years of supervised release.

A federal jury convicted Norton of conspiracy to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine, distribution of methamphetamine, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in March 2021.
Norton’s co-conspirator, James Ward. testified for prosecutors that he supplied Norton with two to four ounces of methamphetamine per week.
