WCRK captures statewide award

Nashville, Tenn. – The Tennessee Radio Hall of Fame has announced the 2022 Luther Community
Service Award recipient. WCRK Radio from Morristown, TN will receive the special recognition at the
upcoming Annual Awards Ceremony and Banquet.
     Bob Kesling, the “Voice of the Vols” and Chairman of the selection committee says “ WCRK stood out this
year because of its solid commitment to the community holding food drives, raising money for its
hometown fire department, and raising money to feed volunteers,” among many community-wide

endeavors involving Girls Incorporated, the United Way, the Boys and Girls Club, the Humane Society and others.
     The Tennessee Radio Hall of Fame is dedicated to documenting, preserving, and honoring the people
and stations shaping the art and science of radio broadcasting throughout the state. The 2022
Awards Ceremony and Banquet will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the Embassy Suites
